Kanye West's Donda Academy Closes For The Remainder Of The Academic Year

Due to recent anti-Semitic remarks, Kanye West's Donda Academy closes for the remainder of the academic year.

According to reports, Kanye West's school, Donda Academy, has permanently closed as a result of the rapper's recent antisemitic remarks.

Parents received an email from Jason Angell, the principal of Donda Academy, informing them that the school will be closing for the rest of the 2022–2023 academic year "at the Founder's discretion."

There is no school tomorrow, the email continued, alluding to today (October 27).

In Simi Valley, California, West launched Donda Academy in August 2022. The Christian school had a $15,000 annual tuition fee and was named for his late mother. In order to stop leaks of information regarding school events and brochures, the school also requires parents to sign nondisclosure agreements.

North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, are Kanye West's own children, but they do not attend his academy. West has fiercely pressed his ex-wife Kim Kardashian to change that.

The 45-year-old founder of Yeezy once suggested that their four children switch to spending three days at their present private school and two days at Donda Academy. However, that won't be possible this year because the school announced in an email that it will "begin afresh in September of 2023."

The end of Angell's email read, "Our leadership team will be working carefully to support all families during this transition, ensuring that every scholar gets what they need to flourish in their next community in a prompt and gracious manner.

We are certain that our students will become the innovative thinkers, fearless leaders, and intellectual leaders of the coming generation.

Due to his hateful remarks about Jews on October 8, West's business relationships have been breaking up quickly. Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga have all severed connections with the musician.

He said the Jews own Hollywood and threatened to "go Defcon 3" on the Jews, presumably alluding to the military readiness state.

The rapper was immediately removed from Forbes' list of the world's wealthiest people as a result of Adidas' decision to leave Kanye.
